Drainage Act 1991

The Parish Council adopted responsibility for the maintenance of two dykes in Gembling as part of the drainage improvement approved by the Planning Inspectorate. In the interests of clarity it will fulfill this duty within the meaning of the Drainage Act 1991. Should it be necessary to request assistance from our local Drainage Authority (ERYC) it will do so. Members Code of Conduct

This Council adopted the Members Code of Conduct on 19 July 2012. All Councillors will adopt the principles of the code when they are elected, and sign a Notification by a Member of Disclosable  Pecuniary and non-Pecuniary Interests to that effect. The relevant key points of the Code can be accessed from the selection in the left pane.
