The clerk to the FPC currently works Monday & Friday's for the FPC and will endeavour to answer your calls or emails within that time as soon as possible.

The Parish of Foston on the Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire consists of the villages of Foston and Brigham along with the hamlet of Gembling.

We would like to welcome you to the Foston on the Wolds Parish Council website and hope that you will find it useful and informative.

DRILLING AT FOXHOLES

Planning application NY/2025/0113/FUL has been published and is open for comments until 31 October 2025.  The application is to drill through the chalk water aquifer at Foxholes, close to the boundary with Wold Newton, that supplies water to the whole of East Riding of Yorkshire and beyond.

Foxholes and Butterwick Parish Council have created Facebook page, Drawing a Line in the Chalk, https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1BKFJMPfxA/?mibextid=wwXIfr  that has lots of relevant information and advice for people to make comments to North Yorkshire Council.

PARISHONERS - AGENDA ITEMS 

It was agreed in a meeting of the Foston Parish Council on 5th April 2023 that all Parishioners would be given the opportunity to add Agenda items to be discussed by the councillors at the next upcoming Parish Meeting. If anyone would like to do so please email the clerk on fostonparishcouncil@gmail.com with details of the items they want adding within 7 days of the meeting taking place, all requests will be considered.
